Hej stylus preset5/23/2023 There’s no question of the quality and the loops can be used in most genres. The loops, while not all melodic, are constructed from some shockingly pleasant synths. In this case, they’ve done a fantastic job. “ …Nine Volt have made it clear that this title is designed to overcome the limitations that most melodic REX libraries suffer, where poorly sliced material is evident. “…What you won’t be able to surmise from the online audio demos, though, is how fantastically usable this library is… In short, this library is elegantly simple in purpose and brilliant in execution.

Barbarian smashing four5/22/2023 Allnight is a great herb for u, check it out(Seriously). Fortification enchantment is never bad either. my personal fav is a crafted none slot item that can do displacement afew times per day. Anything that can give ur opponents a miss chance, because yes ur going to get hit alot but why not negate some of those hits. Ive done 130+damage crits vs casters at 13th level with it. Second the Falcata should be added to weapons. The feat Raging Brutality should be added immediately as it is a deff "blue feat". Ive played your cagm build to level 13 and let me tell u it is amazing. Likewise, it makes DR and Resit Energy better because the DR/Resistance is applied AFTER the damage is halved.Īlso, since Barbarians are more about absorbing attacks rather than avoiding them, it has great synergy. If the party has a cleric, it's even better, because Channel Energy becomes exponentially good the more damage is spread among the party. Well, that example assumed that all your defenses failed catastrophically and you're taking the maximum damage (Worst case scenario you might say)Īs for sissy clerics in my party, no not really, but my point is that there usually is someone sitting in the back dealing range damage.īasically Ring of Friend shield turns any range class into a Hit Point Battery for the Barbarian. Still these might fail, and that's an interesting way to avoid the damage. While normally in that circumstance (If you have DR 6/- you are likely level 12) you would normally want to either use CAGM to Dazing Assault the dragon, or Knockback to force it away from you prior to the hits coming in, depending on the situation. Your clerics sit in the back? That's a terrible use of a combat class! D:īut seriously, Ring of Friend Shield sounds like a very nice trick. Now the cleric get's to CHANNEL! 30 Healing later, we now have a Barbarian who's taken 21 damage and a Cleric who's taken 53 damage from a FULL ROUND of a dragon's attacks. So we have a Barbarian who's taken 51 damage and a Cleric who's taken 83 damage. Now lets take the exact same scenario but with a Ring of Friend Shield on the Cleric.īut now we get to apply the Barbarian's DR We'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he's got like DR 6/- by nowīARBARIAN AM TAKE 134 DAMAGE! BARBARIAN AM UNHAPPY! Lets say just for the hell of it that your Barbarian just can't get a win and takes all the dragons attacks. He's just sitting in the back, all of his delicious, delicious HP going to waste because he's just not being hit by the monster because the Barbarian is up in their face. Or heck, if you got one, the party cleric. But what if you could have MORE health? And MORE DR? But that's ok, you're a Barbarian with Lots of Health and DR. As a CAGM barbarian, you are gonna be taking hits. I like the guide, but I think you missed one of the greatest items for Barbarians:

Instead, at the end of the first act, the game says to the player, "Things are getting really serious, really fast. This isn't like Mass Effect 3, where decisions don't really amount to much later on. The way this game made me care about so many different characters fits perfectly with another thing The Witcher 2 does brilliantly: letting the player make decisions with major consequences. BioWare talked a lot about gray morality and understandable villains in Dragon Age II, but CD Projekt RED has shown them how it's done. The emotional impact these characters had on me never reached the level of a game like Lost Odyssey, but in terms of making the characters feel like real people, The Witcher 2 excels. It didn't matter if the character in question was the leader of an elven terrorist group, a power-hungry king who casually talks about raping women, or a drunk troll that charges people to cross a bridge that doesn't even exist, they all exude enough humanity to make me at least somewhat interested in helping them. Every major character in the game can be on Geralt's side at one point or another, which is a testament to how relatable their motivations are. There's no generic evil force to battle like in Dragon Age: Origins or The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, meaning that the conflicts in the plot are much more political and realistic. There are no real villains in this game, nor are there any real heroes. It takes a certain type of craftsmanship to make a mutated human and a group of dwarves getting drunk in an inn actually seem realistic, but CD Projekt RED has done it.īeyond these subtle moments, the key to The Witcher 2's excellent characterization is its mastery of gray morality. As strange as it may seem, some of the most important moments in The Witcher 2 are ones where Geralt is relaxing in a tavern with his friends, old and new, watching the colorful cast's interactions with each other. In Mass Effect 2, for example, I felt that while Shepard got to know all of the characters, the characters never got to know each other. Many Western role-playing games (RPGs) make the mistake of having character interactions be almost exclusively one-on-one between him/her and the main character, never forming an overall group dynamic. They're possibly the most believable characters in any game I've ever played, regardless of whether or not they were on the side of Geralt. While this usually means I found them to be likeable, the people I met in this game go far beyond that. The factor of the story that best fuels The Witcher 2's excellence is undoubtedly the characters. Beyond that, the depth of the story, particularly the motivations of the characters, goes far beyond what I've come to expect from video game storytelling. Recognizing his power, aristocrats and kings have enlisted him for protection during times of political upheaval and war. Geralt of Rivia is a witcher, a mutated human who has both the knowledge and combat skills to battle almost any type of monster and defeat it. Perhaps one of the best things that can be said about The Witcher 2 is the fact that the plot can't be summed in one or two sentences without cutting some serious corners. By making such precise tweaks coupled with large-scale additions, this new and improved version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has proven to be worth every minute of the eleven month wait. In addition to what was already patched for the PC version, it has been loaded with all sorts of new areas, characters, and cut-scenes. While a simple port would've been sufficient, CD Projekt RED has shown a desire to outdo what was already great with the Enhanced Edition. After being hailed by critics for its smart storytelling, complicated combat system and excellent presentation, it was impossible not to clamor for the Xbox 360 port that has arrived nearly a year later. When The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings first graced PCs in May of last year, many of us exclusive to console games were left more than a little envious. WTF "King, command your vulture to shut his beak before I thrust his cockerel up his ass and twist so hard he'll crow until noon reverts to morning." LOW Killing a family of friendly trolls and feeling really bad about it. HIGH The inexplicably detailed and believable dwarven city of Vergen.

Amc shift exchange5/22/2023 It’s to get as many people in there to create memorable events. Ron Howard, another famed director, also predicted varying pricing at Wall Street Journal‘s 2020 Tech Live, explaining that, “The multiplexes are going to become a little bit like Broadway in a way…That’s where the expensive projects go. While some may enjoy the idea of going to the movies as an event, such as when audiences dress up for Star Wars releases or go in giant groups such as with a concert or sporting event, there also needs to be an avenue to make sure smaller films are still supported and able to thrive in an era when franchise films are dominating and both franchise films and smaller, original stories can flourish. The day-and-date concept became a reality with movies being available on video on demand and streaming services the same day, and this appears to be another prediction he made that has become true. Lucas stated back in 2013, “The question will be: Do you want people to see it, or do you want people to see it on a big screen?” Variety explained that both Spielberg and Lucas saw the concept of “‘quirky’ or more personal content migrating to streaming video-on-demand, where niche audiences can be aggregated.” And you’re probably only going to have to pay $7 to see Lincoln‘” He also predicted it would come a day where, “There’s going to be eventually day and date with movies, and eventually there’s going to be a price variance…You’re going to have to pay $25 to see the next Iron Man. In a 2013 panel at the University of Southern California, famed directors Steven Spielberg and George Lucas both predicted what would eventually become a reality 9 years early.Īs Variety explains, Spielberg noted that “they would rather spend $250 million on a single film than make several personal, quirky projects.” While fans may be surprised that this is happening, those in the industry have predicted something like this would happen for years. He further went on to say, “This is all quite novel in the United States, but actually, AMC has been doing it for years in our European theaters…Indeed, in Europe, we charge a premium for the best seats in the house, as do just about all other sellers of tickets in other industries - think sports events, concerts, and live theater, for example.” In Los Angeles, the price increase will be $1.50 for adult tickets to see The Batman. The CEO of AMC Theaters, Adam Aron, announced that tickets for The Batman, the latest film in the saga of the superhero franchise featuring the “Caped Crusader” starring Robert Pattinson in the titular role will be, “slightly higher than the prices… for other movies playing in the same theaters at the same time.” It’s something that Spielberg and Lucas predicted almost a decade ago in 2013: different tiers of prices for different films similar to that of sporting events and concerts. To practice a variable pricing experiment, AMC theaters will charge different prices for movies, beginning with The Batman.

Sony multi band world receiver radio5/21/2023 Of course, on the other side, radios that come with built-in antennas tend to have better reception and a wider range of frequencies than those without them. But, you should know that that radio will cost more than one that does not have an antenna. If a radio that you are about to purchase has an antenna, that’s awesome. But, if you need a portable device that you can carry with you, we recommend you to go with portable shortwave radio models. If you want to buy a tabletop shortwave radio, you should know that they usually cost more money than portable ones. You should also determine the type of shortwave radios that you want to purchase after you have managed to determine your budget. Purchasing a bad-quality radio is worse than spending a few extra bucks on a good-quality one. If that might be the case with you, it is for the best if you wait a while until you have more money. But, remember to be realistic as you might not be able to find a good quality shortwave radio if your budget is too low. If you are trying not to spend much money on a device like this one, try to set the lowest budget possible. You can, of course, determine your own budget and look for shortwave radios accordingly. Here we have presented you with radios that are under $500. Obviously, you have to determine your budget. If you are looking for a way to choose the best radio that fits your budget, there are a few things that you should determine and have in mind before you even leave your house to go shopping. This model features a dual alarm clock function Price on Amazon How to choose the best shortwave radio under $500.You are able to tune it manually or automatically. This radio can even catch aircraft bands as well as shortwave and single bands. This radio can save up to 100 radio stations.A 360-degree antenna comes with this model. This model can catch FM, AM, SW, LW, and SSB signals.Tecsun S-2000 shortwave PLL synthesized radio: Great SSB Air Band Because of the lightweight materials and the small, yet durable, construction on many of the early transistor radios Sony created, it was easier than ever before to transport a Sony radio to different locations.5. Even the TR-55, the original Sony radio, weighed just barely over 1 lb. Many of the original vintage Sony radios are small enough to be taken anywhere and could be considered a portable radio. Are vintage Sony radios portable or stationary? Their first model of transistor radio was known as the TR-55, created in 1955 as the first officially branded Sony product on the market despite the company not formally transitioning to the name Sony until 1958. These types of radios were admired for their smaller size compared to those that came before, their increased durability, and how much more efficient and powerful the connection strength and quality were. The Sony corporation is known for manufacturing transistor radios, which were created near the beginning of the 1950s. In terms of Sony radios, the radios most prized by vintage radio collectors are those made before the 1960s. However, the three major types of radios most experts would consider to fit the designation of vintage are crystal radios, vacuum tube radios, and transistor radios. The criteria for what is considered to be a "vintage radio" is not set in stone, with various examples spanning the decades between 19. What kind of radios are considered to be vintage? In the case of Sony, their radios date as far back as 1955. The majority of what collectors and experts consider to be an antique radio would be anything 50 years or older, typically made around the time of World War II. As such, there aren't any permanent criteria for what qualifies as sufficiently vintage or antique. The title of "vintage radio" covers electronic devices from several decades. Available in both portable radio and stationary varieties, Sony radios are a great choice for anyone who might be needing a way to listen to music without the use of a computer, or just for collection's sake and the joy of owning a piece of Sony history. Working radios and model radios from Sony can be great conversation pieces for guests as well as help to tie a room together. Vintage Sony radios are reliable electronics known for their crisp, clear sound and cool retro aesthetic.

Banished cheats acheivements5/21/2023 The only other major thing I had to add was a way to show the user where to place things, and not allow them to place them in any other location or orientation. TutorialImage _images // list of imagesĪfter all that setup, what do we get? A step in a tutorial that waits for a button press! TutorialSetup _setup // list of setup items String _postText = "Step_Road_0_Post" // text to display after the images String _preText = "Step_Road_0_Pre" // text to display before the images StringTable _stringTable = "tutorialStrings" // all strings for the tutorial Toolbar _toolbar = "Game/Toolbar.rsc:transport" int _locationX = 2 int _locationY = 0 īool _isSafeRestart = true // safe resume point if returning from a save game TutorialImageHotKey hotkeytransport : "baseKeyPress" hotkey images read from user input map so it always shows the current key Toolbar _toolbar = "Game/Toolbar.rsc:transport" int _locationX = 0 int _locationY = 0 TutorialImageToolbarIcon icontransport : "baseIcon" grabs the icon from the toolbar for display in the tutorial window This is a simple dialog with some text and images on it. String _button = "ToolbarDialog:transport" // wait for transport to be pressedįinally I needed a way to display information to the user explaining what they should do. Once the goal is met the tutorial moves onto the next step. Again this was done without adding code to any real game system - everything is limited to the tutorial system. Int _speed = 1 // set game speed to normal.īool _forcePlay = true // force the game into the run state if it was paused.Įach tutorial step also has a goal - what should the user have to do for the tutorial to proceed? Press a button? Place a house? Set a certain number of workers? The tutorial system has a bunch of different goals it can wait for - they all just monitor the state of the game. There are also other setup items that can occur, like changing the speed the game runs at. String _highlight = "ToolbarDialog:transport" ĭialog _highlightDialog = "Dialog/TutorialHighlight.rsc" highlight the transport button with standard arrow and highlight "ToolbarDialog:options" // allow options button so user can save/load/quit "ToolbarDialog:transport" // allow toolbar 'transport' group to be pressed The setup for what UI elements are available looks like this. The configuration for the tutorials works the same way as all my other data serialization. I also added the ability to add an overlay dialog to highlight any widget so the user would know on screen where things are. Once that system was in place, the tutorial can disable all widgets except for a few buttons per step. This allowed all UI code to proceed normally without knowledge that the tutorial is occurring. So instead I built the tutorial system to just disable all UI widgets with a special flag that only the tutorial uses. I didn't want to inject any tutorial code into the main UI code - that's just messy coding and bug prone. In most tutorial steps the player should only be allowed to only press one button, or place one object. There are lot of buttons and widgets that the player can fiddle with. The first issue I dealt with in trying to do this is that Banished has so much user interface. Given that, the tutorial needs to be a predictable experience where the player can't get anything wrong. They could try to build a stone house instead when there isn't any stone available. If you say, 'Place a Log House' and let the player pick the location, they could place in a location where the townsfolk can't get to it. There are way to many things that can go wrong if the tutorial gives the player freedom. In addition, anything the player is allowed to do that isn't part of the tutorial shouldn't invalidate anything in the tutorial. Whatever they do, the next tutorial step has to be valid as well. If you tell the player to do something, you have to make sure they can actually do it, and do it without error. There is a hard issue to deal with tutorials in a city builder or RTS. Implementing them has been a typical round of designing something, getting halfway through it, and realizing there is a better way I could be doing it. Given that, there's very few systems that I needed to write for Banished that I hadn't had any exposure to at all. You talk over algorithms with other programmers, make sure your systems work well with others, and help fix all sorts of bugs near ship time. After working on consoles for a long while, you get to know the all the systems in a game engine - even ones you don't actively work on.

House blueprint5/21/2023 Designers use the 3D renderings of a floor plan primarily for presentation purposes. Walls and windows are presented in photorealistic views as well. To create a finished interior look, 3D architectural modeling designers can insert 3D models in the image, such as furniture pieces and decorations. The 2D process is quick and straightforward, albeit not visually appealing.Ī 3D floor plan software program gives a detailed appearance of the layout. The software allows them to create a simple view of the interior from a bird’s eye perspective with information about room specifications. Home and interior designers tend to rely on floor plan software to draw the layout of a house during the project’s initial phase. RELATED: The power of architectural CAD services Floor plan software As such, the term is now used, even by professionals, to refer to floor plans or other architectural drawings. Blueprint (the printing method) is now considered obsolete and has been replaced by conventional whiteprint. 2D CAD floor plans are often visually rudimentary, showcasing only the layout and specifications (such as sizes of the rooms and doors or windows placements) but with minimum detailing on walls and interiors.Ī 3D floor plan rendering company drafts a 3D floor plan is a construction mockup with a high level of detail on the interior, including furniture, decorations, fixtures, and a photorealistic view of floor type and color. Floor plans, either 2D or 3D, provide a bird’s eye view of the room layout of a house. The term is derived from the old-fashioned printing method, which uses white lines on blue paper. “Blueprint” refers to a technical drawing used as a construction document or a guide for builders. RELATED: How much do CAD drawing services cost for design drafting & architectural blueprints? Two types of floor plansĪlthough “blueprints” and “floor plans” are sometimes interchangeable, they can mean two different things. It takes at least ten hours to draw the blueprints of a three-bedroom house and costs anywhere from $500 to $2,000. A draftsperson’s hourly rate will range from $50 to $130. The cost to hire a professional drafter ranges between $800 and $2,700, depending on complexity, or an average of $1,750. Crowntakers gameplay5/21/2023 This is where team and inventory management becomes important as you choose which heroes to give your best gear and what role you want them to fill in your team setup and use that accordingly in enemy encounters. Your hero and mercenaries which you hire during your adventure level up separately and have their own equipment which can be upgraded with materials and even socketed with runes to give them bonus benefits to create a sense of a unique party with specific strengths and weaknesses. In these battles each of your allies will have two turns (with kills recovering a turn) that you can use to move, attack and activate skills unique to that character with the ultimate objective to dispatch any enemy tiles while minimising the losses of your own units. Taking additional risk early can often pay off in Crowntakers with it either ending a potentially doomed run anyway early or by boosting your power significantly so you have a strong chance of finishing that run.įor the events that involve combat the hero and any mercenaries that you’ve hired will be placed on a hexagonal battle screen with your enemies (such as wolves and bears in the early stages) where a turn based tactical battle begins. For many of these events though players have the option to avoid them completely or make choices that may impact on the outcome which creates that familiar risk and reward of similarly themed games. Each of these maps are randomly generated each game to give Crowntakers that level of randomness that ensures countless playthroughs and corresponding challenges.Įach of these hexagonal locations on the map will be populated with an event be it a town (with merchant and blacksmith), enemy, cave, cottages or a host of other special events that require player interaction and decision making. To navigate the game world of Crowntakers you’ll find it is split hexagonal shapes which can create multiple paths to the end of the level at which point you’ll fight a boss and move onto the next stage. Each adventure starts at your house with players taking control of their swordsmen hero which creates your basic foundation from which all adventures will grow. Players in Crowntakers will start on the easy mode in the game (you’ll thank the game later) which allows you to carry over experience from game to game while also being able to skip the bosses at the end of each level and is tuned in this matter to allow you to have a constant sense of progress and engage with all the game mechanics before attempting to do it in a fully rouge-lite manner if you are so inclined. You are tasked with stepping up and embarking on a journey to free him from evils hand and in turn restore the order and prosperity that the game world has grown accustomed. The fantasy like setting for your adventure is one you would have encountered before with a peaceful land being thrown into chaos after the loss of their king and struggle on the knife’s edge of survival. When it all comes together Crowntakers is a highly strategic and tactical challenge that will require experimentation and experience to achieve victory on your selected game platform. Crowntakers mixes several genres together to create an interesting blend of turn based combat, role playing and rogue-lite elements that will keep you hooked in that familiar cycle of playing just one more game. |
